New Options in Healthcare for Women of West Michigan

Good news for the women of West Michigan! An exciting merger results in greater accessibility to comprehensive patient centered health care. Grand Rapids Women’s Health, PC is the result of the merger of Grand Valley Gynecologists, PC, Knollcrest OB/GYN, PC and Newton, Frank and Blickley OB/GYN, PC. The merger combines some of the regions leading physicians specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The formation of Grand Rapids Women’s Health will improve the delivery of superior quality and patient centered health care for women. According to Dr. Adam Blickley, “Bringing together the doctors from these three outstanding medical groups will enable them to become even better at what they do. The merger will allow them to add new services and options for women that the three smaller groups could not previously provide because of their size.” As a larger, single specialty group, the practice will be better able to expand on the special areas of expertise of the physicians. This will allow the practice to be at the forefront in the development and practice of innovative high quality care for women.

In July 2008, Grand Rapids Women’s Health will be located in the new Women’s Health Center of West Michigan (near) Michigan and College in Grand Rapids. On site services will be expanded with a focus on the patient experience while being cost effective. For example, newly designed office surgical suites will provide for enhanced options for comfortable and cost effective office surgical procedures.
